Cancelations
If you need to cancel, we ask that you please notify us 24 hours in advance. This allows us the opportunity to book someone else in to avoid loss of revenue. Please contact Driven by Detail at 085 810 1944.
If we are delayed, we will notify you as soon as possible.
On occasion, we may have to cancel as a result of extremely bad weather. When this is the case, we will ring you to rearrange the valet to a date and time that suits both parties.
However, If you have a garage or any other suitable sheltered area, we will be more than happy to carry out the valet.
Payments and service prices
Prices shown on this website may be subject to change following inspection of the vehicle. This will be discussed with you before any work has started.
During the valet, We may need to bring your attention to a particular aspect that we feel will need to be discussed before tackling.
Reasons why the price may need to increase
– You require extra services that were not agreed upon during the original phone call.
– The vehicle to be valeted is a different size and model than what was described.
– The vehicle is dirtier than could reasonably be expected.
Exterior:
Below are examples of where a vehicle is dirtier than could reasonably be expected on the exterior;
– Heavily caked in brake dust on the wheels that will require multiple applications of heavy-duty chemicals.
– Excessive moss/lichen embedded between body panels and window seams.
Interior:
Below are examples of where a vehicle is dirtier than could reasonably be expected within the interior;
– Mouldy surfaces.
– Excessively muddy interior.
– Excessive dog hair embedded into carpet, floor mats, and seats.
– Large amounts of chewing gum/sticky sweets stuck to carpets, floor mats, and seats.
Maintenance Valet:
– Customers may avail of the Maintenance Valet plan up to a maximum of 6 weeks after a Full Valet or subsequent Maintenance Valet of the vehicle has been completed. After the 6-week period has passed, customers must book a new Full Valet to be eligible to set up a new Maintenance Valet plan.
– Price of service may increase due to an excessively stained interior. These include but are not limited to;
– Mouldy surfaces.
– Excessively muddy interior.
– Excessive dog hair embedded into carpet, floor mats, and seats.
– Large amounts of chewing gum/sticky sweets stuck to carpets, floor mats, and seats.
Damages
An inspection of the vehicle will be done before the valet to check for any dents, scratches, or tears. Please make us aware of any problems before we begin our work.
Personal items within the vehicle
Please remove all personal items from the interior the car. We will not be held responsible for any items that may be disposed of.
What we require TO complete the valet
– Access to power and a water supply.
– A reasonable amount of space in which to comfortably get around the vehicle.
– Enough time to do the valet. All valets differ due to vehicle size and their overall condition. We strive for perfection and we aim to give you the best possible final results. Bearing this in mind, a job can take longer than expected.
